All meals are freshly prepared and optional evening meals are also available at an additional cost. It has received a 4-star guest accommodation rating and has won awards for its cleanliness and hygiene. The Southern has a wonderful, peaceful location just a few minutes' stroll away from Yarmouth’s lovely sandy beach. The Pleasure Beach, the model village and the many other attractions of the seafront are just a short walk away, as is the new Outer Harbour, opening in 2009. Well worth a visit, the award-winning Time and Tide museum is just around the corner and offers a fascinating insight into the history of Great Yarmouth.
